These are some of my writing samples - most of which I've written to complete coursework as a De La Salle University-Manila graduate student from 2013-2016. The entire PDF file of at least 50 articles is available in my LinkedIn profile.

Other entries include personal blog posts and marketing content for a personal care company. I also wrote print and digitally published articles for Benilde's School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (as Communications and Production Coordinator from 2010-2017 and as a Project Writer from June to November 2022). My current work as a Consultant/Writer with Benilde's Center for Institutional Communications may be seen on the official website

Teamwork at the Heart of Research

From a Certificate Program to a Doctorate: Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Dx. Domingo believes that language and communication issues are common stumbling blocks for Deaf Filipinos in Deaf education. Currently, the Head of Deaf Heritage and Filipino Sign Language Studies Unit of Benilde’s Center for Education and Advancement of the Deaf (CEAD), Rafa’s research interests are Filipino Sign Language documentation, syntax, [and] linguistic ethnography, Deaf education, and Deaf human rights. Since co-founding the Philippine Federation of the Deaf Inc. as a community leader and advocate, I have fought for my rights and the rights of Deaf Filipinos. I used to be an extremely obstinate and strong-willed person…I’ve always tried to disprove stereotypes about Deaf Filipinos.”

His & Hers

I was wooed and I said yes to a charming young lad. Yet I pined away for more the love I never had. I once threatened to leave him but he put up with my moods. By the light of the chandelier charming couples took their place. As I stayed by the lovely rose bush with the wind

Since Sliced Bread

Reading through “Riptide: What Really Happened to the News Business” by John Huey, Martin Nisenholtz, and Paul Sagan feels like the best thing I have read about online news publishing “since sliced bread.” I am not just writing this because it is required reading; I am writing this because I am glad it is required reading. Yes, I am the self-professed geek who is a big fan of the dynamics of the effect of technology on information and culture.
